The Rajasthan Royals pacer has missed out on first two India vs England Tests and is also unlikely to be part of the last three Test matches. He eagerly awaits the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the T20 World Cup, viewing them as prime opportunities to showcase his comeback. “The IPL and World Cup are exciting challenges for any athlete,” he expressed, “and we’re ready to embrace them wholeheartedly.”
With the World Cup kicking off in June, a fully fit Krishna alongside India’s pace spearheads – Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammed Shami – would form a formidable attack. Recognizing his natural pace and bounce, Krishna emphasized the importance of consistency and strategic bowling: “Pace is crucial, and confidence and rhythm enhance it. But sticking to team tactics and bowling consistently is paramount.”
