The wait for the second season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 is over as the highly anticipated tournament will start from Friday (tomorrow).

The M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru will host the curtain-raiser match between the Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. The match will be a rematch of the championship game from the previous year when MI defeated Delhi to win the title and become the inaugural winner.

Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan is scheduled to light up the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024 opening ceremony, which will take place on Friday, February 23, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The King of Indian cinema will be performing at the star-studded event alongside Tiger Shroff, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, and Shahid Kapoor.
