“Most likely, the Wankhede will be the venue. The final decision will be made within the next 24 hours” a MCA official told Cricbuzz.

Mumbai were on song in their semi finals clash against Tamil Nadu. Powered by a hefty ton from Shardul Thakur, Mumbai went on to clinch victory by an innings and 70 runs. And with the huge win, Mumbai arre slated to play their 48th Ranji Trophy final.

“The Wankhede Stadium has been the home of Mumbai cricket for almost half a century.
