Just a few weeks remain for the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024). MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings have received a huge boost. New joinee Sameer Rizvi has slammed an unbeaten knock of 250 runs. The Uttar Pradesh batter set the stage on fire after his brutal hammering against Saurashtra.

Taking part in the U23 Col CK Nayudu Trophy, Uttar Pradesh has taken a mega stand against Saurasthra in the Quarter Finals. It took Rizvi just 165 balls to hammer his double century. Not contented, Rizvi is continuing to hammer and has crossed the coveted 250 run mark.

IPL

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) broke the bank for the 20 year old star in the IPL 2024 auction. MS Dhoni’s side acquired the destructive batter for a whooping price of 8.40 crores.

Rizvi slammed his century the previous day and then went on to continue his charge the next day. He quickly reached his double century from just 165 balls. Not contented, he went on at hammer and tongs at the opposition. He raced to his double century, hitting 28 fours and 10 sixes in the process.

Banking on such a good knock, Rizvi will be eyeing for a start in the opening game. CSK are slated to take on RCB in the opening game of IPL on 22nd March.
