The England team will spend their time before the IND vs ENG 5th Test in Chandigarh and Bengaluru. The England team went off to Abu Dhabi before the third Test, but this time they will be staying in India.
The IND vs ENG 5th Test starts on March 7 in Dharamsala. Since the IND vs ENG 4th Test finished in four days, England players will have plenty of time on their hands before they head to Dharmshala for the final Test.
Now, it has emerged that the England team will split across Chandigarh and Bengaluru during the one-week break.
”The squad will be split across Chandigarh and Bengaluru before the fifth Test. They are unlikely to hit the nets during the break. The squad arrives in Dharamsala about three days before the Test (March 4),” an ECB source told news agency PTI.
Since the source said that the team will stay away from playing cricket in the break, it will not be an exaggeration to claim that the England players will spend a considerable amount of time in Golf courses. Both Bengaluru and Chandigarh offer a number of Golf courses and England’s love for Golf is no secret.
Hopefully, the England players will rejuvenate during the break and come back to offer more resistance to the Indian side who have been cruising in the series.
