WATCH: Kieron Pollard rolls back the years with a vintage one-handed stunner in PSL 2024

Pollard is one of the best outfield fielders in the history of cricket and is known for his trademark one-handed catches on the boundary.

Vintage Kieron Pollard! The tall West Indian may have left international cricket, but his athleticism is as good as ever. The 36-year-old pulled off one of the greatest catches in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) earlier today.

Stationed at the boundary, Pollard leaped into the air and plucked the ball just inches away from the boundary rope to take one of his trademark one-handed catches. With his team, the Karachi Kings, looking to take the upper hand against the Lahore Qalandars in the PSL 2024, the West Indian pulled off a miraculous catch to give his side an important breakthrough.

Thanks to Kieron Pollard, not only did the Karachi Kings send the dangerous Jahandad Khan back to the pavilion, but soon after Shai Hope and Sikandar Raza were also dismissed. From 90/3 to 121/6, all because of Pollard’s athleticism. However, as it turned out, his fielding skills weren’t enough for the Kings to take control of the match.

Sahibzada Farhan and George Linde struck 54 runs off the last 26 balls and ensured the Lahore Qalandars ended the inning on a high. Farhan carried his bat with a 45-ball 72, while Linde struck at 200 to score 26 off 13 balls.
