PSL: Saim Ayub finally made a comeback with the bat in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL). After registering a series of low scores in his previous outings, Ayub brought out his best in the Lahore Qalandars vs Peshawar Zalmi PSL 2024 clash. WATCH:
An excellent batting performance from the likes of Saim Ayub, Babar Azam and Rovman Powell ensured that Peshawar Zalmi post the highest score in PSL 2024. Thanks to Ayub efforts, Zalmi ended up with 211/4 in 20 overs after being put into bat first. To note, this was Saim Ayub’s highest score in PSL 2024 as he smashed his first fifty in the competition.
Speaking more about Peshawar Zalmi innings, skipper Babar Azam scored a well compiled 48 off 36 balls while Saim Ayub carried on and top scored with 88 off 55 balls. Rovman Powell batting at Number 3 played a blinder as he scored 46* off 20 balls. Mohammad Haris was unbeaten on 12* off 5 balls.
